- The Establishment of a dedicated anti poaching rhino unit
- Accommodating the new anti poaching unit in a separate newly established camp designed specifically for these operations
- Employment of a new team of field rangers dedicated to rhino poaching
- The specialised training of the new field rangers in anti poaching techniques
- The equipping of the new field rangers team with gear, munitions and communication equipment
- The acquisition of a new 4x4 vehicle for the anti poaching team
- The acquisition of a specially trained tracker dog - Koevoet
- Community awareness projects both within and outside the Klaserie through Childrens' EcoTraining
- The establishment of motion sensor programmes
- Klaserie intelligence sharing and co-operation with adjoining Reserves including Kruger National Park
- The establishment of reward programs in exchange for information leading to the apprehension of poachers
- Klaserie participating as an active participant in Game Reserves United (GRU) co-ordinating anti poaching efforts amongst all Game Reserves forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park
- The establishment of new and technologically improved fences along our boundaries
- Increased surveillance within the reserve and along it's boundaries with using cellular and camera technology
- Participating in fund raising projects to raise money for anti poaching initiatives
