Wild & Free

The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, is a collaboration between conservation and community. It is a place where the spirits of our people, our members, and their visitors intertwine with the land, creating a tapestry of interconnectedness.

From our dedicated management and staff to our respected commercial partners and their guests, we work hand-in-hand to ensure the sustainability of our natural assets. Here, the rhythm of nature beats in harmony with the pulse of humanity. Klaserie is a place where the past lives side by side with the present. The land and its people hold stories that can only be told if you listen closely. Here, an ancient earth gives birth to new beginnings in each season. And when you visit, we hope you will leave as changed as this land has been by those who have called it home for generations.

Beyond our borders, we embrace our local communities, nurturing relationships based on respect and mutual benefit.

Eco Children, a visionary initiative founded in 2004 by Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, is nurturing the next generation of wildlife custodians through community projects that enrich lives and protect the land. Eco Villages now thrive in nine schools, impacting over five thousand children daily.

We empower and uplift, recognizing that their well-being is intertwined with the success of our conservation efforts. Our vision is one of inclusive prosperity, where the local communities are active participants in the preservation of our land and culture.

Our unwavering commitment to responsible and sustainable conservation and eco-tourism practices is the backbone of our existence. We are the guardians of this wild and free pristine wilderness, entrusted with preserving its spectacular beauty and rich heritage for generations to come.
